About

“To be ignorant of what occurred before you were born is to remain a child. For what of the human life, unless it is woven into the life of our ancestors by the records of history” – Cicero 106-43bc

Hannah is the host, curator, writer, editor, and designer behind the Terra Australis Chronicles. She is Currently studying at the University of New England Armidale (UNE) for a bachelor in education K-12 with a major in Drama and minor in Modern History.

Hannah found through her curiosity in history that Australian history was often covered at surface level even from a Eurocentric point of view. People were easily hero-washed and turned into one dimensional characters and events were glossed over. This caused Hannah to feel a need to deep dive not only into the colonial period or current modern history, but why Europeans even thought it existed before the discovery age when ships barely made it away from coastal lines.
